How are you? I am Helen. It is winter and it is cold now. It means Chinese New Year is coming.

Do you like Chinese New Year?

A long, long time ago, there was a monster. It always went out of the hill and ate the animals in winter. The people were very angry and went to hunt it, but they failed. Suddenly, an old man told the people the monster was scared of red colour and noisy sound.

So the people put the red paper on the door and lit the firecrackers. This is the story of Chinese New Year. Do you like this story?
