A Day Trip in Hong Kong

20th February, 2012

7:00a.m.- I took a plane to Hong Kong from Japan.

12:00a.m.- I wanted to go to a famous place in Hong Kong- Tsim Sha Tsui. Tsim Sha Tsui is located in Western Kowloon. I took the MTR to go there.

Firstly, I went to Hong Kong Space Museum. I watched a video about planets and astronmy. It was so useful to me. I went to an exhibition which was about stars and planets. The idea of planetarium was orginally proposed in1974 by the Urban Council of Hong Kong. It was opened on 8th October,1980.

2:45p.m.-Secondly, I went to Hong Kong Science Museum. I watched a 3-D movie. It was so exciting! Moreover, I played some games about science. I learned a lot in these games. The Urban Council of Hong Kong first conceived the Hong Kong Science Museum in 1976. It was opened on 1st February,1988.

5:30p.m.- I visited Kowloon Park. There were some beautiful and stunning views. I drew the scenery on my book which had lots of pictures. Also, I bought my family some souvenirs , such as, a bag to my mother, a pencil bag to my sister and a pair of shoes to my father. Unluckily, it rained. My pants was wet! After the rain, I saw a beautiful rainbow. So, I took some photos. In the 1830s, some westerners found that Victoria Harbour was an ideal anchorage place for vessels. At that time, the site of the later Kowloon Park was an important military base over-looking the harbour. In 1861, the British occupied Kowloon Peninsula and named the base as Whitfield Barracks.

7:30p.m.-I had dinner at a Chinese restaurant. I ate a plate of fried-rice and a cup of milk tea. They were so delicious!

9:00p.m.-I got all my luggage and checked out my room of hotel. I took the bus to Hong Kong International Airport. I felt so unhappy. It was because I had bought a lot of things in the other places. I was so tired. They were so heavy!
