My trip to Singapore

From 25th to 28th January, I went to Singapore with my schoolmates and teachers. I felt very excited because it was the first time for me to travel by plane. I also wanted to learn some culture and history about Singapore.

On the first day, I woke up early. At eight o’clock, we arrived at the airport and ate the breakfast. At half past ten, we took the plane and I saw a lot of beautiful scenery. We had lunch on the plane. However, the food was so bad. At about three o’clock, we arrived in Singapore. First, we went to a palace. It was very clean and I hoped I could live there because it was a comfortable place. Then, we went to Suntec City. There was a fountain inside the mall. We walked clockwise around the fountain 3 times. The Singaporeans believed that it would give us some good luck. Next, we went to Merlion Park. It is a symbol of Singapore. We all took many photos there. After that, we had dinner in a restaurant. The food was so spicy and hot. Finally, we went to Windsor Hotel and discussed the homework with my classmates.

On the second day, we had breakfast in the hotel. Then, we went to Punggol Pirmary School. We also had English and Science lessons with them. They were very hardworking because they always jotted down some notes during the lessons. They were very friendly and they shared some snacks with us. I also asked them their e-mail addresses. Finally, we took a photo in front of the school. Next, we went to have our lunch. The food was so delicious. After lunch, we went to Sentosa Island and played some exciting games. Although the weather was very hot, we still played happily. Then, we took a train and went to the beach. We walked on a drawbridge. It was so fun! In the evening, we went to the beach and watched a show. The name of the show was “Songs Of The Sea”. It was very great!

On the third day, we enjoyed our breakfast in the hotel. After breakfast, we went to the Singapore Botanic Gardens. I could see a lot of flowers , such as Orchidarium, White Fairy and Masako Kotaishi Hidenka. My favourite flower was White Fairy because it looked like a fairy who wore a white dress. It was very pretty. We also saw some special trees. After lunch, we went to the Singapore Discovery Centre. We all enjoyed playing the funny game—we had built our dream city with some models. Then, we saw a robot who could speak with people. We asked it some simple questions and it could sing songs to us! After that, we watched a 3D movie. I could learn many things from it. At night, we had a dinner in Lau Pa Sat Market. Our tour guide gave us eight Singapore dollars and we could buy any food that we liked to eat. We ordered some special and yummy food. All of us were very full.

On the final day, we went to NEWater Visitor Centre in the morning. As there is not enough clean water for domestic use, the Singaporean government recycle the dirty water to be clean water. I think they are very clever. We also visited the National Museum of Singapore. It was very beautiful and we took a lot of photos. In the afternoon, we ate the Hainan chicken rice. I loved it so much! If I have a chance, I will eat this food again! Finally, we went to the airport and took a flight to Hong Kong.

After going to Singapore, I discovered that Singaporean students are very intelligent and their English is excellent. I could also learn the way of living in the Singapore. To conclude, Singapore is a wonderful place that you must visit. I love Singapore very much!
