My trip to Singapore

It was my first time to leave my family and travel by air because I joined a study tour to Singapore from 25th January to 28th January. So, I was excited and happy. When I arrived in Singapore, I felt that it was a very clean country because nobody dropped litter.

On the first day of the trip, we went to the Sultan Palace. I thought the palace was small. Then, we went to Merlion Park to see the Merlion statue, which is the icon of Singapore. However, I thought that it was terrible as it looks very angry and it seemed that it wanted to eat me up.

On the second day, we went to visit Punggol Primary School. The school was very big and it might be larger than Ming Tao Primary School. When I walked into their classroom, I felt nervous because my English is poor and I thought I couldn’t communicate with them. In the afternoon, we went to Sentosa Island. It was a beautiful place. We could enjoy the beautiful scenery on the Slioso Beach. After that, we went to enjoy our dinner. The food was yummy and spicy, but it was quite delicious. After dinner, we went to watch a performance called “Song of the Sea”, it was so exciting and colorful.

On the third day, we went to the Singapore Botanic Gardens to enjoy the different types of orchids. We could see the national flower of Singapore, the Vanda Miss Joaquim. We went to the Singapore Discovery Centre. We watched a 3D movie there. Then, we went to Lau Pa Sat to have our dinner.

On the last day, we went to NEWater Visitor Centre. I learnt how to make water clean and I tried to drink the NEWater. After lunch, we went to Singapore Changi Airport. The flight took off at 7:00p.m. So, we said goodbye to Singapore.
