My favorite festival is Chinese New Year. It is because I can have many red pockets when I visit my relatives.

Before Chinese New Year, my grandmother and mother made a lot of cookies, cakes, sticky rice, etc. We cleaned up and decorated our home. My grandmother cooked delicious meal on Chinese New Year eve for us. After the dinner, we made some stuffed dumping as desert. Then we would went to the flower market to buy flowers. There were many kinds of flowers and things to buy there. During Chinese New Year, we visited our relatives and friends. I can get a lot of red pockets.

I am so happy and excited whenever the Chinese New Year arrived.
