It was a rainy and stormy day. Annie was watching TV in the sitting room when she heard a sound.

It was thunder. Annie was very scared and frightened. She called her mum, “Mum, Mum! I’m very afraid!” Annie said.

Her mum heard Annie’s cry. “If I walk slowly, Annie will cry again,” her mum thought. So her mum ran as fast as a leopard to see what had happened.

Annie saw her mum. She was very happy. “It was only the wind. There is nothing to be afraid of,” her mum said.
