The flag of China (The People's Republic of China) is a five-star red flag. The red colour of the flag is a symbol of the revolution. The People's Republic of China is established through bloodshed and lives of countless revolutionary martyrs.

The five yellow stars are in the upper-left corner of the flag. The colour of the stars in yellow means China has a bright future.

The big star represents the Communist Party of China and the four small ones represents the people of all ethnic groups of the country. The four small stars each has a point pointing towards the centre of the big star. This means that the Communist Party of China is the core in leading the Chinese people of all ethnic groups.
