Happy Birthday, Classmates!

We had a birthday party for our classmates in 3A on 23rd October, 2008. We invited all our classmates and some of our teachers to join our party.

Some classmates wore beautiful hats. My hat was pink, red, yellow and purple. All the hats looked like skirts. They were very colourful. Miss Man gave us some balloons. Jonas, Derek, Peter, May and Crystal got the balloons. The balloons were blue, yellow, green, white and pin. They looked like a lot of birds. I was happy and excited.

Mr. Read designed some games for us. They were Musical Statues, Pin the tail on the Donkey and Pass the Parcel. All the classmates joined the games and the winners had prizes. The prizes were hats, pencils and candies. I felt excited when I played Pass the Parcel.

Next, all the classmates prepared food and drinks. They had salad, fishballs, cheese balls, chips, Seven-up and Fanta together. The food and drinks were delicious. Suddenly, our principal, Mr. Yue came in the classroom and gave us a surprise. He brought some presents to us. My friends got the presents which were some pens and toys. The pens were colourful and the toys were cute. I felt very surprised and pleased.

It was the best birthday party that we have never had in St. Peter’s. We had lots of fun! It was a wonderful party!
