I remember when I was young, I told a lie. Why I still remember that? It is because that was my first lie!

I remember when I was in elementary school, in the certain test, I got a very low marks.It was because I played computer games for a long time before that day. Therefore, the consequences of this was my own making. However, in order not to let my mom knew that, I hided the test paper in my bookcase.

After few days , we must hand in our test paper. But I could not hand it in, so I told a lie to teacher that I forgot to bring my test paper. Few weeks after, my teacher urged me to hand in the test paper. However, I still didn’t hand it in because my mum didn’t know that I had a test paper, so she didn’t sign her name in my test paper.

My teacher began to feel doubt, so she decided to call my mum and asked she what happened.

After the called, my teachers knew that my mum didn't know I had a test paper. And she guessed that I had hided my test paper.

Now, I could only told the truth to the teacher. After she knew the truth, she didn’t blame me, contrarily encouraged me to give the test paper to my mum. My teacher also told me that this failure was not matter, as long as don’t repeat the mistakes like this. After I listen what my teacher said, I felt very warm suddenly.

After this incident, I had understand ‘No pain, no gain’ this truth. Important is I know that lying is wrong because it may bring very serious consequences! As long as we do not repeat mistakes like this.
